The 2024 Ig Nobel Award Tour show at EPFL — the video is available
During the evening, Marc Abrahams, father of the annual Ig Nobel Prize ceremony and editor of Annals of Improbable Research, presented the prize, the yearly ceremony in September at the Harvard University, and the 2023 winners. Then we could hear Chris Moulin (Université Grenoble Alpes, FR), 2023 Literature Prize winners interested in "Studying the sensations people feel when they repeat a single word many, many, many, many, many, many, many times", Damien Bouffard (Eawag, Kastanienbaum, CH), 2023 Physics Prize winner, sharing about "Measuring the extent to which ocean-water mixing is affected by the sexual activity of anchovies", and Minna Lyons (Liverpool John Moores University, UK), 2014 Psychology Prize winner, "Amassing evidence that people who habitually stay up late are, on average, more self-admiring, more manipulative, and more psychopathic than people who habitually arise early in the morning"
