The PASC17 Conference

The Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing (PASC) Conference, co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS), will be held from June 26 to 28, 2017 at Palazzo dei Congressi, located in Lugano, Switzerland.

MARVEL members are involved in several minisymposia, as "MS04. High-Performance Computing for Modeling Transport Properties in Thermoelectric Materials" or "MS14. Machine Learning", on Monday, and "MS19. Materials for Energy" on Tuesday, and present some posters.

Nicola Marzari is giving the public lecture, entitled "The Times They Are a-Changin' - Computational Discovery in the 21st Century" on June 27, 18:00.

Matthias Troyer is presenting a plenary lecture entitled "Towards Quantum High Performance Computing" on June 28, 16:00.
